“Hey ladies! I had my 24 weeks check up and wanted to share a little encouragement for motivation from it! I started out this pregnancy in the obese category according to my BMI, do the doctor advises I should aim to only gain 15 pounds throughout the entire pregnancy.
I have a huge sweet tooth and being pregnant only amplified those cravings! I ate okay in the early stages of pregnancy and exercised maybe twice a week. But around week 14, I completely let my diet fall to the wayside and only exercised once or twice in a 6-week span.
Army 20-week appointment, I was already up 10 of those 15 pounds (8 of those pounds were gained from week 16 to week 20). So I had mind renewal and was so inspired by you ladies to get off my bum and make time to exercise!
I started with the two-week trial and then phase 1. Feeling better physically helped my mental health so I was naturally choosing better food options like an orange instead of a candy bar as my afternoon snack!
